CURRENT OPPORTUNITIES TO HOST

July group visit annually

Each July we organise a summer visit of teenagers from Spain and France who visit the Inishowen/Rathmullan/Dunfanaghy areas for 2/3 weeks during this time. Some of the visitors take part in other activities while there such as riding, surfing, sailing and watersports. These activities are held each week-day so we are always looking for hosts who can transport them to the activities each day.

Other visitors just come on home stay and we ask participating families to involve them in some local visits each week during their time in the area. A Saturday outing is also organised .On this programme we can accept hosts who have children in their own homes aged between 12 and 17 years old. Hosts are paid an allowance.

School stay students

We also offer our visitors the opportunity to come and study at a local school during term-time for periods of 2 weeks- 1 year. We accept hosts who have children in their own homes aged between 12 and 17 years old. Hosts are paid an allowance and local co-ordinators supervise the students welfare throughout.

Adult visitors

Finally we accept applications from hosts wishing to welcome an adult visitor . No need for hosts to have children in their own homes, but we particularly welcome people who might wish to take visitors on walks and hikes in the area or have a particular skill they would like to show and share (traditional music, pottery, singing etc). Hosts are paid an allowance.

Please get in touch if any of the above opportunities are of interest to you and we will give you further details about how to register.
